Assalamualaikum to my readers…..
Alhamdulilllah, my heart is still being guided to write about the glories of Allah swt, our Creator the Al-Mighty…. May Allah swt grant thoufeeq for me to do so.
Dear brothers and sisters, thank you for following my blog…Alhamdulillah.
After having gone through 2 decades of self realization and been granted thoufeeq to write my blog, I have come to view that having the right Aqidah is something that must be sown in our core to be able to realize the presence of Allah….
Having the right aqidah is of upmost importance as this is what will shape us as a human being or shape our ummah as a whole to be on the straight path.
Without having the right aqidah instilled in our daily lives, we can go astray unknowingly.
Aqidah to my understanding, that I have learned from my Islamic studies means having a strong belief in Allah, in His Messenger Muhammad saw and holding on tight to it firmly.
A person should not go astray from the divinely route to becoming a good conscientious person….The study of Faith may be available in all other religions but Aqidah in Islam is unique.
Our Aqidah exists in our CORE VALUES. Making sure that what ever we do is for the sake of Allah and in accordance to the given shariah and to establish a balance in society which is acceptable in the general public as rightious deed.
A person without aqidah is like a ship without its captain. It cannot be anchored or steered to the right direction as there is no one to steer it. It will just keep sailing aimlessly without a destination to harbour……It will eventually end up crashing into a rock or cliff and finally sink!!!! Similarly a person without aqidah will be doing whatever he does as he pleases himself with no target in life, which is just a momentary joy and nothing more than that and finally destroying themselves. May Allah protect us and our ummah from this.
What is AQIDAH???
Aqidah in the Islamic perspective….
Knowing AND ACCEPTING what is right. THE SUPREME RIGHT IS THE EXISTENCE OF ALLAH AND ACCEPT THAT TRUTH CONSCIOUSLY. OBEY TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER. WHAT ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER PRESCRIBED OBEY AND ACCEPT WHOLE HEARTEDLY AND WHAT THEY PROHIBITED IS WRONG AND AVOID IT .
IN OUR ROUTINE LIFE AQIDAH MEANS what is RIGHT ACCEPT IT FOR ALLAH AND WHAT IS wrong AVOID IT, and to stand by it, THIS IS MESSAGE OF AQIDAH
Aqidah must begin from home and at the very beginning of childhood. Usually parents will instill these aqidah to the children. If the parents go ashtray, the children might tooo. Nauzubillah hi min zaliq
I am a very analytical person, and by Allah’s grace I am able to analyse many things surrounding me, I have come to a conclusion that a mother is the first person to teach the right aqidah to their children, as explained futher in Our Role Model Defines Who We Are…., next would be the father, then grandparents, teachers and so on….
When I was younger, I could not fathom and realize what is the real message and practicality of aqidah in my daily life, but as I grew older it became much more apparent what it truly means…..Alhamdulillah
I used to think that aqidah is believing in Allah or just practicing Haram and Halal, but it is just not only that. Aqidah is far more deep rooted. It is rooted in (OUR) soul….
Aqidah is teaching our soul or conscience to be on the right path constantly…. it is a blissful feeling of OBEYING THE LAWS OF ALLAH
A simple example,
- to copy in an exam or not….
- to take what belong to others although it is easy to take or just leave it as is…..
If our aqidah is deeply grounded in our soul, we will think twice about doing any of the above because of our conscience, we will think of the consequences….
Remembrance of Allah’s presence will immediately prevail in the depth of our consciousness. SubhanaAllah
- If we copy, will the grades truly reflect what is mine??
- If we took what belongs to others what would the outcome be? How would we feel, if it was reversed, if something is taken from us instead?
When our aqidah is strong, we will do none of the above as our soul will be conscientious and feels guilty.
May Allah instill in all of us the right aqidah and to be a conscientious human being in sha Allah for the sake of our beloved Allah and Rasulullah saw….
