The sacred month of Ramadhan is the time for us to establish the regular night prayers ………قَالَ: “سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ لِرَمَضَانَ: مَنْ قَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ”. Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying regarding Ramadan, “Whoever prayed at night in it (the month of Ramadan) out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2008, Book 31, Hadith 1). This is what our beloved Nabi (saw) has promised us. When we have fasted and sincerely performed our Qiyamullail (night prayers) in this blessed Ramadhan all our sins would be erased and we would become like a newborn baby just born into this dunia, SubhanAllah.
A person becomes such an innocent person like a newly born baby! May Allah swt. grant us thaufeeq to fast, sincerely, perform Qiyamullail for the sake of Allah swt to be blessed in dunia and akhirat. What a golden opportunity! To have all our sins forgiven and erased! To be transformed and erased of all sins just like a newly born baby! Ameen ameen ameen Ya Allah.
